Shipping Cases
The #1016 shipping case is primarily made for collectors to ship instruments. Its short length is preferred especially with rising shipping costs. For this reason, there are no interior pockets and no place holders for bows.
The #1016 fiberglass shipping case is designed to provide both protection in transit and to compliment the presentation of even the finest of violins. Added features include a triple layer of exterior fibergalss, a padded travel bag, full suspension, a blanket and secure neck straps to hold your instrument in place.
The 1016L Oblong shipping case has no bowholders, is just 25" long and weighs 5.0 lbs. Suspension with arched top for superior strength. Plywood construction.

The new 4002 and 6002 cases combine an attractive velvet and a new light canvas cover with all the regular features of our wooden model 1002 violin cases. They're a good case for players who want an entry level Bobelock violin case.
The #4002 case has the same case features and standards for quality as the #1002. Only the price and weight have been reduced.
The #6002 is Bobelock's lightest oblong plywood case weighing in at barely 6lbs. The arched top gives superior protection for up to four bows as well as the fully suspended violin bed.

Also available in a slim, shaped model #1007: protection without the bulk and weight of an oblong style case. Built with the same methods and materials as the oblong model, the #1007 features a small outside accessory pocket. Fits most carry-on dimension restrictions for air travel.
