In Loving Memory of Alisha Pearson

Read Rhiannon's Eulogy for Alisha

December 1, 1996 - July 28, 2007

Fiddleheads Violin Student Alisha Pearson was killed in an accident on Saturday, July 28, 2007. Her death was tragic and far too early. She was only 10 years old and loved by many.

A celebration of Alisha's life was held on Saturday, August 4, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. from Fischer's Funeral Services [Salmon Arm] with Pastor Norm Russell officiating.

Obituary

Alisha Marie Mei-Tee Pearson (Grandpa's Special Treasure) passed away as a result of a freak accident at White Lake involving only her and a vehicle. Many thanks and much appreciation is extended to the first responders, the ambulance crew and the hospital staff who all tried very hard to resuscitate her, unfortunately to no avail. Also, many thanks to Spring Coutts of the RCMP for her respectful and considerate approach to performing her functions. Everyone's efforts are greatly appreciated.

Alisha will be greatly missed by her family, many friends, her two dogs and two cats which were her constant companions. God now has a new special angel to help him with his many tasks. In lieu of flowers and gifts, donations can be made to a special fund through Shuswap Violin Society to help budding violinists, one of her many interests, but perhaps the one she most cherished.

Alisha participated in many sports: swimming, soccer, basketball and fishing.

Alisha was predeceased by her Uncle Des, Grandpa Liew and Grandpa Hendry. Left to mourn are her mom Erin Pearson, Grandparents David and Marie Pearson, Grandma Liew, Aunt Arden Henry and Uncle Gordon Glasser, Aunt Catherine and Uncle Jordan Henry, Aunt Wendy Henry, Uncle Frank and Grace Liew, her cousins Nathan, Collin, Wyatt, Logan, David, Elizabeth, Jen-Tee and all her extended family and many friends.

We would like to send a special thank you to Ranchero principal Jeff Abbott and the staff of Ranchero Elementary School. God's gain is our loss.

A celebration of Alisha's life will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. from Fischer's Funeral Services with Pastor Norm Russell officiating. Arrangements entrusted to FISCHER'S FUNERAL SERVICES & CREMATORIUM LTD., Salmon Arm, (250) 833-1129.
